Welsummer

Chicks are sold sexed, as pullets.

The Welsummer breed gets its name from its native village of Welsum, in the Netherlands. They are most known for the unique terra-cotta speckled egg they lay. They are active foragers, athletic in nature and are very decent layers at 200-250 eggs a year. 

DISCLOSURE; due to the way genetics work and how complicated they can be, egg color of the pullets sold is not guaranteed. 

 

ALL BIRDS 12 WEEKS AND OLDER FROM OUR FARM ARE VACCINATED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING DISEASES; MAREKS, NEWCASTLE/ BRONCHITIS, MYCOPLASMA AND CORYZA STRAINS A B AND C.

    Sexing of the chicks

    Any sexing error should be reported to us within 12 weeks of their hatch date. Images will be required. A refund for the incorrect sexing will be issued or replacement chicks will be sent, depending upon the number of poultry that were incorrectly sexed.
